all aspects of food and pop culture. Okun’s culinary comedy podcast
AIR JORDAN, where he talks everything edible with guests such as
Wolfgang Puck, Phil Rosenthal, BJ Novak, and Jon Shook & Vinny
Dotolo has been profiled in Hollywood Reporter and featured in Food
& Wine and on Eater. Okun’s debut novel L.A. FADEAWAY is a darkly
comedic journey of an eager assistant at a talent agency and the
rarified access it provides to Los Angeles and its restaurants. The
book, published by Simon & Schuster, was profiled in The Wall
Street Journal, Hollywood Reporter and Los Angeles Times. Okun has
developed scripted television projects with Joel McHale for IFC and
TV Land and continues developing scripted and non-scripted food
shows. He started his career watching VHS submissions for America’s
Funniest Home Videos, and later witnessed even more testicle
shattering action in the ICM mailroom. He respects shrimp cocktail,
has never had a glass of milk in his life, and can speak for hours
on the art of the breadbasket.
