Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jarmin Runes trained
martial arts under Master Ernie Reyes Sr. since the age of 4.
Joining the Ernie Reyes World Action Demo Team at the age of 6, he
performed around the United States from Universal Studios, to the
MAIA Supershow, to the NFL 49er halftime shows.
Jarmin Runes competed locally, winning multiple grand championships
individually and later moved on to competing nationally. After
receiving his 3rd degree black belt under Master Ernie Reyes Sr.,
he eventually moved on to instructing martial arts and gymnastics
professionally.
At the age of 19, Jarmin moved from the Bay Area to Los Angeles and
started to train film fighting with fight coordinator, Arnold Chon.
A year later Jarmin had the opportunity to stunt double for Ernie
Reyes Jr. in a TNT show "The Librarians." Currently Jarmin is still
working in the film industry and is a full-time digital content
creator.
